Q & A

Commonly asked questions when renting in Halifax

"Where is the best area to live in Halifax?"

"What information do you need to fill out a lease?"

Halifax is divided into the North End, South End, and West End. The post-secondary institutions are mostly located in Halifax.

When you're looking for a place to live, other than finding a place close to your university, consider the following: transportation, walk-in clinics, grocery stores, etc. If you have children, consider the location of daycares and schools.
